Barbara Mensah, originally from London, took the leap to relocate to Copenhagen, Denmark in 2017. Barbara launched her career in this beautiful city by becoming the owner of Barbara Mensah Beauty Studio. This stylish, cozy, and chic haven provides a welcoming, comfortable space for clients to be pampered and beautified in readiness for those special moments and occasions.
Barbara has been a professional international makeup artist for 12 years and lash stylist for 4 years. She has worked all over the world, including, Denmark, London, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Malaysia, Mexico, Hawaii, the USA, Barbados, St Lucia, and Brazil.
As a born creative and entrepreneur, Barbara embarked on a new venture 3 years ago, by launching her own brand of Shea Butter, which she sourced with her team in Ghana. This rawest form of shea is a natural product that provides her customers - who rely on natural skin healing - soothing alternatives to their skincare routine. The Shea Butter is now shipped worldwide and can be bought from several stores located in Denmark.
Barbara is also the beauty editor of Denmark’s leading source for news in English in Denmark, The Copenhagen Post. Barbara provides readers with the latest beauty news and trends. She also identifies upcoming beauty salons, makeup artists, beauty therapists, and hairstylists and collaborates with them to share their stories and services in the paper. Barbara’s main aim is to share unrivaled insight into what is happening in the national and international beauty sector.
